     WHY REGISTER WITH THE CTSU?
Upon confirmation of registration with the CTSU, Cooperative Group members:
    • Gain unrestricted access to a broad menu of NCI-sponsored Phase III Cooperative Group protocols outside of your respective Cooperative Group.
    • Receive financial reimbursement or funding credit for each patient you enroll.
    • Receive credit towards Group membership accrual requirements even when the protocol is not sponsored by your Group
    • Obtain access to the CTSU Web Site for protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, educational materials and more
    • May utilize the IRB application submission template that is available for each protocol on the CTSU menu. This template is provided in MS Word and gives answers to questions most frequently asked during the IRB submission process. You may "cut and paste" from this document to fit your IRB's particular format.
    • May enroll patients without the restrictions of meeting minimum accrual requirements
    • Receive e-mail updates on CTSU activities
The CTSU membership is now managed through the Cancer Therapy and Evaluation Program - Account Management System (CTEP-AMS) registration system. To obtain a valid username and password for access to the CTSU member web site Investigators and Associates must register with the CTEP-AMS registration system.

NOTE: A physician in the United States who is interested in becoming a CTSU credentialed investigator and who is not a member of a Cooperative Group should visit our Non-Group Investigators page for more information.

     PROMOTING CTSU PROTOCOLS:

With over 10,000 registered users, the CTSU has the capability to make substantial contributions towards accrual goals. With the primary goal of increasing accruals, the CTSU can assist in promoting protocols in numerous ways. For more information about this check out our  CTSU ROAD MAP.

In addition to the CTSU Road Map, there are also protocol-specific promotional materials available:

Physician Fact Sheets: One-page summaries of the patient population and treatment plan with schemas on the back for all treatment protocols. These also contain the names of the study chairs as well as CTSU contact information

Study Summary Slides: PowerPoint presentations developed by the protocol team that summarize each study. At this time these are only available for a few studies.

These materials can be found by selecting any protocol from the protocol search search list (located at the top left side of this page).
